The African Grey Parrot is all grey except for a black bill, and red tail and under-tail coverts. It has a range in the African Congo. Their habitat is savannas, coastal mangroves, woodland and edges of forest clearings. It feeds on fruit, nuts, leaves, bark, and flowers. They are one of the most intelligent parrots and all known for their ability to mimic speech. There numbers are declining due to the loss of habitat and capture for the pet trade.
